Richard Mendes worked closely with many corporations and businesses involved in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. He has dealt personally with National Olympic Committees, International Sports Federations, Olympic Sponsors, Olympic Bid Committees and Organising Committees for the Olympic Games. As CEO of Sport Management Ltd., he has built his business through providing services to organisations involved in the Olympic Games and other major sporting events. His clients have included the New York City 2012 Bid Committee, the Dominican Republic Organizing Committee for the Pan Am Games 2003, the Olympic Attaché for the French National Olympic Committee, the Sydney 2000 TOP Sponsor – News Ltd., Sportsworld International, OUI Paris 2008 Bid Committee, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Graduate Centre – City University of New York.
Richard has spent six years studying and researching previous Olympic Games to create a unique set of training modules that assembles practitioner-orientated learning about the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
