London Met student in the 2008 Olympics!
Kennedy Katende, a first year Sports Management student, has qualified for the Beijing Olympic Games. Kennedy is a light-heavyweight boxer from Sweden and qualified for the Olympics last week by taking second place in the final European qualifing tournament in Greece. Kennedy had to intermit this semester after breaking his arm in February and needing to return to Sweden for treatment, but will be back at London Met in September.
