2008 Summer School
Tourism and the London 2012 Olympic Games
In the interests of furthering links between our two universities, NHTV Breda students have been invited to benefit from the knowledge being gained from London’s hosting the 2012 Olympic Games. Students from other universities abroad are now also being invited.
Hospitality and tourism are increasingly subjected to globalisation and the tourism impact of a global event such as the 2012 Olympic Games has great relevance to the students attending the summer school. The Summer School will inform and enthuse students so that they will return to their home country with a wider knowledge, with more motivation to study, and with experience of practicing their English language skills in an English speaking country. It is also hoped that visiting and studying in London will lead students to see the value of educational exchanges and of cooperation between universities.
